TimedSpeed

Speed Detail Control

Displays either the current speed as a percentage, the elapsed time, or the remaining time. The elapsed and remaining time is calculated from the current scrolling speed and the text content length. Changing the speed will change these times.

Tapping the right side button will change the display type, cycling through speed percentage, elapsed time and then remaining time.

When displaying the speed percentage, tapping the left button will display a dialog box allowing the speed to be changed by entering a percentage as text.

When displaying either elapsed or remaining time, tapping the left button will display a dialog allowing the desired total scroll time to be entered. The speed will then be adjusted to fit the required time. For example, entering 3:30 would adjust the scroll speed so that it would take three minues and thirty seconds to scroll from the beginning to the end of the script.

Note: A title bar tool is available to display the elapsed time and allow the total scroll time to be changed. A separate tool is also available to display the speed percentage and allow changing it textually. See the Titlebar for more details.
