Throw Details

Every time a throw is made, a throw is added to the player scores during game play.

Throws have several properties that can be set during game play to capture detailed information about how the game was played.

Accessing Throw Details

The Throw Details are only available from the list of throws from the Game View

The Game View can be accessed by creating a new game or opening an existing game from the game list.

From the Game View, press either the Last Throw button or the All Throws button.

The Last Throw button will display the details about that last throw that was made.

The All Throws button will display a list of throws for the current player on the current hole. Selecting a throw from the list will display the details for the throw.

Configuring Throw Details

The Disc Used button will display a list of discs for the playe.

Selecting a disc will indicate that the disc was used for the throw.

The GPS coordinate for the throw is displayed with latitude, longitude and altitude.

The GPS button will use the GPS features of the device to acquire a location for the throw. This should only be used if you are standing at the location where the throw was made.

The GPS detail button will display the cooridinate details so that can be manually edited or modified from a map.

The Throw Type option will indicate how the throw was made.

If the disc that was used has a default throw type, it will automatically be selected.

If a disc is not indicated for the throw, the player's default throw type is used.

The throw type is used for certain throw statistics

The Throw Category option will indicate what type of throw was made.

The default value for this option is based on what type of disc is used for the throw.

The throw category is used for certain throw statistics.

The notes area provides a way to enter any notes about a throw.

The Out-of-Bounds / Hazard option provides a way to designate a throw as out-of-bounds or as a hazard.

Use the + and - buttons to indicate the penalty for the throw. This value will be counted in addition to the throw.

For example, an out-of-bounds or hazard throw with a penalty shot of one, will count as two throws.
