The iOS Remote feature provides a way to synchronize multiple devices wirelessly. It is not necessary to be connected to a WiFi network to use the iOS Remote feature.
1. Press the Disconnect button to disconnect a device from a session.
When devices connect, the host will send a message to all connected devices to load the current file. If the file does not exist on a device, the file will be sent by the host. When a file is loaded on any device, all connected devices will be instructed to open the file. If the file does not exist on one of the devices, it will be sent the file by the device that loaded it. If the file is out of sync, it may be necessary to instigate a transfer of a file.
Additional sharing options are available by selecting a connected device in the list of connected remotes. These options can also be accessed from the Files menu when a remote is connected.
Use this option to send the currently loaded file to all connected devices.
Use this option to request the file currently loaded on the host device. This option is not available on the host device.
Select this option to browse the list of files on a connected device. Selecting a file from the list will transfer the file.
Use this option to send the settings file to all connected devices. This will replace the settings on the other devices.
Use this option to request the settings file from the host device. This will replace all settings on the current device with the settings from the host. This option is not available on the host device.
