Several options are available to modify the behavior of MIDI, as well as resources.
Enable this option to be able to assign a unique control to two consecutive MIDI messages, or presses. An additional control will be available in the MIDI settings to show single or double presses.
Send: When prompter features are used, MIDI messages for configured controls will be send to connected destinations. In order for a control to be able to send MIDI messages, the Send Prompter Control Changes option needs to be enabled for the control. When this option is enabled, all MIDI messages from connected sources will be ignored.
Receive: MIDI messages from connected sources will be received and acted upon if it cooresonds to a configured MIDI control. This is the normal mode for using a MIDI remote device to control the prompter.
Send/Receive: MIDI sources and destinations will both be used as outlined above.
The MIDI log shows a list of all MIDI messages received. The log can be cleared and exported as a text file.
Determines which note is treated as Middle C, select C3 or C4.
If enabled, a piano sound will be played for received MIDI note commands. This can be useful for testing a device.
If enabled, when the pitch bend control is released, the pitch will return to the center, zero position. If not enabled, the pitch will remain at the value it was released. This only applies to the pitch bend control on the soft keyboard, it does not apply to external MIDI controllers.
If enabled, using the pitch wheel or keyboard from the Keyboard Layout will activate their assigned prompter controls and control the prompter. Use buttons will be available in the program and control change lists to activate their assigned prompter controls.
Select this option to print or share a list of configured MIDI controls. The list includes control labels, type, values, and double press controls. The file can be shared as a rich text file or a plain text file. The file can be displayed and shared using any of the device's sharing capabilities.
Use this option to create labels for configured MIDI controls that can be printed and used as a reference on the MIDI device. For example on a pedal device or keyboard keys.
Use this feature to change the properties of multiple controls at the same time.
