Mouse Wheel

This document describes how to use assign a control to the mouse wheel/scroll feature.

By default the mouse wheel functions like a touch panning on the screen, allowing content to be scrolled vertically. The feature influenced by the mouse wheel is determined by the location of the cursor.

The control assigned to the mouse wheel will function whenever the cursor is over a feature that does not scroll. For example, the titlebar or controller.

To enable the assigned control to override the default scrolling behavior of the text, the Apply to Text Content option must be enabled.

1. Open the settings by pressing the settings button.
2. Select the Remote option.
3. Select the Mouse Wheel option.
4. Use the Enable Switch to the on position to enable the mouse remote, set it to off to disable the remote.
5. Tap the Wheel Control option to assign a function to the wheel.
6. Select a control from the list.
7. Optionally, enable the Invert option to reverse the logic of the wheel.
8. Adjust the Sensitivity setting as needed to achieve the desired influence from the wheel.
9. Tap a mouse button option to select a function for the button.
10. Select a control from the list to use for the mouse button.
11. Optionally, press the ••• button to see additional options.
12. Enable the Apply to Text Content option to override the default text scrolling behavior and use the assigned control instead.
13. Select the action for the available mouse buttons. The Prompter Control option will execute a control for the prompter. The Change Wheel Control option will toggle the scroll wheel control between Scroll and Speed.
14. Press the Connection button to see a list of connected mice and the controls they offer.
15. Press the Settings button to dismiss the settings when finished.
