The Text Editor provides a way to see the text content with a smaller font than is being used in the main text content. It provides a way to edit the main text content indirectly.
The Text Editor can use the same formatting as the main text, or it can have its own format.
Edits that are made in the Text Editor are also made in the main text content. It is possible to edit text that is not on the screen in the main text content.
To access the Text Editor options, press the ••• button.
Determines the text size for the Text Editor. This does not affect the main text.
If enabled, the Text Editor will show the same text formatting as the main text. The text formatting bar will be displayed above the keyboard. Any changes made to the format of the Text Editor will also be applied to the main text, with the exception of the text size.
If not enabled, an additional formatting menu will be available in the Text Editor. Any changes to the format will only affect the Text Editor.
If enabled, the Text Editor will scroll as the main text is scrolled. Interacting with the Text Editor will stop the scrolling temporarily, scrolling will continue after ten seconds of no interaction.
Use this option to scroll the prompter to the location shown in the Text Editor.
Use this option to scroll the Text Editor to display the text that is visible in the main text content.
If enabled, the text that is currently visible in the main text content will be outlined in the Text Editor with a red line.
If enabled, the current line at the guide position in the main text is outlined in the Text Editor with an orange line.
