Motion Remote

The accelerometer and gyroscope can be used to control prompter functions. The most practical method is using gravity and the angle of the device to control scrolling or speed.

Access Motion Remote Settings

  1. Press the Settings button.
  2. Select the Remotes menu.
  3. Select the Motion Remote option.

Activating the Motion Remote

  1. Set the Enable switch to the ON position to enable the Motion Remote.
  2. Set the Enable switch to the OFF position to disable the Motion Remote.

Calibrating Motion Remote for Gravity

  1. Select Gravity for the graph. This setting only affects what is displayed in the graph, it does not affect the behavior of any configured motion controls.
  2. Hold the device in a position to be calibrated. This will be the position that the device should be in to register zero for an axis.
  3. Press the calibration button for the axis to calibrate. The axis on the graph will be centered on zero.
  4. Press the calibration button again to reset the calibration to the device's default position.

  9. Optionally, enable the Invert Axis option. This will turn positive sensor values to negative values and negative values to positive values.
  10. Optionally, enter a Trigger Delay. This determines the amount of time that must pass after a control is triggered before it can be triggered again.
