Import Content

Contacts, phrases, shortcuts, email settings and cell carriers can be loaded into MyAlarm using a CSV (comma-separated-values) file. CSV files can be created using spreadsheet software, such as Apple's Numbers or Microsoft's Excel.

Each section of the file is defined by a row consisting of a single column, indicating the contents of the section that follows.

The sections must be named "Phrases", "Cell Carriers", "Shortcut", "Contact Groups" and "Email Setup". These are not case sensitive and white spaces are irrelevant. The order of the sections does not matter. To leave a field blank, use "-" instead.

Phrases

Requires two columns: title and content.

Cell Carriers

Requires two columns: title and email.

Shortcuts

Requires two columns: title and content.

Contact Groups

Each contact group is separated by a row with a single column containing the name of the group.

Each contact in a group has seven columns: name, phone number, email, phone label, email label, cell carrier name, cell carrier email.

Email Setup

Requires eight columns: display name, username, email address, password, host name, port, connection type and authentication type.
