There are three different types of frogs that can be used, the regular pond frog, the toad and the poison dart frog.
In order to use the Toad or the Poison Dart frog, the In-App purchase to unlock all features must purchased. See Unlocking Features.
Each frog species has different qualities, including jump, swim, lick and poison abilities. Each frog has advantages and disadvantages.
1. Display the settings by pressing the Pause button at the bottom of the screen. 
2. If the Game Settings are not displayed, press the Game button. 
3. If not in the Versus Game Mode, change the mode to Versus. See Changing Game Mode.
4. Press the Species button to display the frogs. 
5. To select a frog type, press the button with the frog to use.
6. To change the frog's color, press one of the color buttons.
7. Press the Done button when complete.
