Red Box

Red Box is a mode that simulates the tones made by coins in old telephone systems.

Press the Box button Box to toggle between Blue Box mode and Red Box mode. The interface will change accordingly.

Coins

Press a coin button to generate the tone sequence for the coin.

Location

Adjust the Location setting to display coins for US, UK or Eurpoe.

Custom Tone

A Custom Tone can be configured, using two adjustable frequencies and volumes. The tone can be continuous and optionally consist of multiple ON/OFF pulses.

  1. Show the settings using the Settings button Settings in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select the Custom Tone option.
  3. Adjust the frequency and volume sliders for the two tones.
  4. Optionally, enable the Continuous option. If enabled, the tone will continue as long as a button is depressed. Otherwise, it will play the sequence of pulses and stop, regardless of button condition.
  5. Optionally, add pulses to the tone by pressing the + button at the top of the menu. When adding pulses they will alternate between ON and OFF.
  6. Adjust the length of the ON and OFF pulses using the sliders.
  7. Press the Test button at the top of the menu to test the tone configuration.
