AirTurn remotes are blue tooth remote accessories that can be configured to navigate counters and add and subtract from counters.

Note

Before you can use an AirTurn device, ensure that it is connected according to the instructions that came with the device and ensure that it is in the proper mode for use with iOS devices. For more information about connection and change modes, see the documentation that came with your device.

Accessing AirTurn Settings

  1. Press the Settings tab to display the Settings.
  2. Select the AirTurn option.

Establishing Connection

  1. Press the Connection button.
  2. Enable the AirTurn Support switch.
  3. Select the device from the AirDirect devices, or add a keyboard AirTurn.
  4. Test the connection by pressing the info button and then use controls on the device. The port numbers should illuminate if the device is connected properly.
  5. Press the Back button to return to the AirTurn configuration.

Configuring Counter Controls

AirTurn controls can be used to navigate counters and add and subtract. Or, a specfic counter can be assigned to an AirTurn control.

Note: The Current Counter is indicated in the Counter List by an AirTurn logo.

Add to Current Counter

Adds to the current counter.

Subtract from Current Counter

Subtracts from the current counter.

Next Counter

Makes the next counter in the Active Counter List the current counter.

Previous Counter

Makes the previous counter in the Active Counter List the current counter.

Counter

Assigns a specific counter to a control and plus or minus operation.

Assigning Controls

  1. Press a button on the remote to show which port it is.
  2. Select the port from the list to assign it a function.
  3. Select the function to use for the control.
  4. If using the Counter option, select whether the control will add or subtract for the counter.

AirTurn Presets

Different AirTurn configurations can be saved using presets. This can be useful to accommodate multiple configurations for a single remote type, as well as managing configurations for different remotes.

  1. Press the Presets button to show the presets.
  2. To add a new preset, press the + button.
  3. To activate an existing preset, select it from the list.
  4. To delete a preset swipe it from right to left.
  5. Optionally, from the AirTurn Settings, change the name for the preset.
  6. Assign functions to the ports of the remote as described above.
